There are 7 voting positions on the CLAC. This includes the Directors of NCLS and Flower Library, the Directors Organization Vice President, and a representative from each county in NCLS.

The Committee meets several times per year to review and discuss the CLAC budget, database usage, and library staff suggestions. The committee makes adjustments as necessary and approves any budget updates.
When there is a vacancy on the Central Library Advisory Committee, the committee asks for volunteers from the county and makes a recommendation to the Director's Organization for final approval.
