Talking is Teaching is intended to give libraries a simple way to talk to parents about early literacy. Some parents are ready to delve into the brain science behind how their children learn to read, but many are not. The basic, easy to repeat message that Talking is Teaching provides is:
Talk, Read and Sing with your baby every day to help them get ready to read!
To support that message, Talking is Teaching provides graphics and supporting materials for libraries to display and distribute.
Check out https://talkingisteaching.org/bundles for semi-monthly themed content bundles. These are excellent inspiration for storytimes, children's area decorations, take home kits, social media blasts etc.
